What is BLACKOUT all about?

“I own too much black clothing…” – Said no girl EVER! BLACKOUT was made for the babes whose closet is full of black! You know who you are. BLACKOUT was born to give a timeless online shopping experience that celebrates the beauty in all things dark, bold, and rebellious.

 

How do I know what size to order?

Our team of talented writers do their best to include accurate details and features of each item in the product description. You can also check out our sizing chart at the bottom of each page, or click here. Please keep in mind that we do not manufacture the clothes and thus some items might run differently from others. If the sizes on a particular item run smaller or larger than normal, it will be indicated in the description of the item. If in doubt or in between sizes, we recommend ordering a size larger. If you would like exact measurements for a particular item, simply contact us at support@iwearblackout.com

 

Do you have any measuring tips?

Yes! Use the tips below to help find the best size for you! Remember: when comparing your measurements to those listed on the site, make sure to check if the fabric is stretchy or not by checking for spandex in the material. If it is, it can stretch an inch or more.

Bust: Wrap the measuring tape loosely around the fullest part of your bust to ensure a comfortable fit.

Waist: Measure the narrowest part of your natural waist, holding the measuring tape loose enough to fit comfortably.

Hips: Drape the measuring tape around the widest part of your hips, resting the tape comfortably against your body.

Length: For tops and dresses, measure from the top of your shoulder to the hem. For strapless dresses, measure from the highest part of the neckline to the hem. For pants and skirts, measure from the top of the waist to the hem.

 

What type of sizing do you carry?

Most of our clothing is Juniors’ sizing, which runs smaller than Women’s sizing. Refer to the measurements chart for each individual product to determine the best size for you!

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal and BLACKOUT Store Credit.

 

Will I receive a tracking number for my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification from iwearblackout.com that states your order has been shipped. This email will also contain your tracking number so that you can track your package at usps.com.

 

What shipping method do you use?

We use USPS to ship our packages.

 

How long does shipping take?

Orders are shipped within 1-2 business days unless there is a problem with the address and the buyer cannot be reached. Products will be shipped via First Class Mail and shipping usually takes about 3-5 business days.

 

Do you ship international orders?

Ugh, we don’t. I know, it sucks. But we hope to in the near future!

 

What is your return/exchange policy?

How do I use my store credit?

Once your order has been returned, inspected and approved by a BLACKOUT team member, you will get an email with your store credit amount and coupon code that you will enter during checkout. Your store credit can be used for multiple orders until the credit is exhausted. You can even buy products worth more than the remaining store credit and just pay the difference at checkout. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
